From Geologist to Marketing Coach: Empowering Holistic Practitioners and Energy Healers Through Human Design
Introduction:
For over two decades, I immersed myself in the world of exploration and environmental geology, a career that took me to remote corners of the planet, from the Arctic to the savannahs of West Africa. While there were aspects of this journey that I cherished, life's twists and turns led me to a pivotal moment. While attending a presentation on Buddhist economics and sustainability at the John Molson School of Business in Montreal, a new path was illuminated before me. Excitedly, I embraced the opportunity to utilize my writing skills to help companies and professionals committed to sustainability promote their services.
After ten years of freelance copywriting, I discovered that being a solo entrepreneur is one of the most significant opportunities for personal growth. Not only did I have to deal with my head trash (imposter syndrome and inner fears), but I had to learn how to build a business that supported me.
Pivotal Decision:
However, like many, the pandemic brought unexpected challenges. My client base dwindled, and a venture into affiliate marketing proved fruitless. Yet, within these setbacks lay hidden opportunities. I realized that these hurdles were not stumbling blocks but stepping stones. Out of this experience emerged a golden realization: I wanted to collaborate with holistic practitioners and energy healers, offering them marketing support and assistance in authentically building their clientele.
Why Holistic Practitioners and Energy Healers?:
I have been a seeker in the world of 'woo,' as some would call it, all my adult life. My journey into this realm has been a lifelong pursuit of spiritual and holistic practices. Grounded in beliefs of interconnectedness and wholeness, aligning my work with this community not only extended my philosophies but also allowed me to make a tangible impact on the world.
An Accelerated Journey:
A few years ago, I encountered Human Design through a client's curiosity about my design. What began as a simple inquiry soon became a guiding light in my personal and professional growth. Like Angel numbers, Human Design continued to reveal itself through various encounters and resources. I recognized its profound potential to empower individuals to navigate the world authentically and be their best selves. This revelation spurred me to integrate Human Design into my coaching practice, recognizing its capacity to enhance clients' marketing strategies and messaging.
Eye-Opening Realization:
Moving forward in life, I sought to propel myself further to align my actions with my deepest purpose. I found a framework in Human Design to live out this purpose, unlocking profound insights and inner reservoirs of strength. This alignment enriched my life and fueled my passion for assisting others in finding their purpose and authentic voice in the world.
